A girl distributed some sweets on her birthday. The half of the sweets she had were distributed
in her class and three-fourth of the remaining were distributed in the bus. The rest 20 were
distributed among her friends living in the neighbourhood. Find the number of sweets she had.​

Let the no.of sweets be X

Ditribution in Class = X/2

Distribution in Bus = 3/4 of remaining = 3/4 * X/2= 3X/8

Class+Bus = X/2 + 3X/8 = 7X/8  (LCM)

Total minus (Class + Bus) = 20

X/1-7x/8 = 20  

8-7X/8 = 20

CROSS MULTIPLY = 20X8 = 160 Sweets
