A girl fell off a 50-foot ladder but didn't get hurt. How?

The fifty foot ladder was set up at almost horizontal angle so that the highest elevation is below one foot from the ground. If the ladder was set up vertically, and the girl fell from the top rung but not hurt, she could be halfway on her fall. Help might still be possible to break her fall safely.
