Answer:Let x be the age of dather

Thus, age of his girl =(x−28) years

ACQ,

⇒ x+x−28=50

⇒ 2x=50+28

⇒ 2x=78

⇒ x=

2

78

⇒ x=39

Therefore, age of father is 39 years and age of his daughter is 11 years.

question :-

A girl is 28 years younger than her father. The sum of their ages is 50 years . find the ages of the girl and her father ??

answer :-

let the girl's age be (X + 28) years

let the father's age be x years

⇢ \: x + x - 28 = 50

⇢ \: 2x - 28 = 50

⇢ \: 2x = 50 + 28

⇢ \: 2x = 78

⇢ \: x =  \cancel\dfrac { 78 } { 2 }

⇢ \: x = 39

so therefore Father age is 39 years

girl age is X - 28 = 39 - 28 = 11 is the girl's age
