a girl mafe two solutions one is acidic and another is base but she forget to label the solutions , litmus paper is not there , what will you to inicate the nature of solutions

In the absence of litmus paper, any other indicator like methyl orange, phenolphthalein etc.,can be used. Otherwise, a natural indicator like turmeric can also be used.

* turmeric paper will turn red if the solution would be base and no color change if acid.
* Also you can take phenolphthalein. Put a few drops of it on each of the solutions.The acidic solution will remain colorless and the basic solution turn pink.
