a girl moves along the boundary of a square field of side 20 metre in 80 seconds. What will be the magnitude of displacement at the end of 200 seconds? Also calculate the average velocity. please answer it properly. and in full explanation.​

Answer:

Average speed=distance /time

=(20*4)/80=1 m/s

Distance covered in 200 second=speed*t

=1*200=200m

let ABCD is square and starting point is A. Then no of sides covered =200/20=10

It means particle final position is at C. So

Displacement =AC=root(20^2+20^2)

=20root2 metre

Average velocity=Displacement /time

=20*root2/200=root2/10 m/s

Explanation:
