40kgf = 400N

2cm^2= (2x10^-4) m^2

P=F/A

P=400/(2x10^-4)  = (2x10^-2) Pa

amitkolasani: i corrected it
amitkolasani: but the answer shlould not be 2×10^6 pascal
amitkolasani: i guess the answer is wrong
asmita1961: ek confusion hai
asmita1961: 10^-4 kaise aya
asmita1961: please solve it
amitkolasani: P=400/(2x10^-4) = (2x10^6) Pa a small correction
amitkolasani: 2cm^2 = (2/100x100)m^2 = (2/10^4)m^2 = (2 x 10^-4)m^2

Hi Mate!!!

PRESSURE = FORCE PER UNIT AREA

I,E FORCE / AREA

Force = 40 kgf = 400N

Area = 2 cm² = 2 × 10 ^ -4 m²

So,. PRESSURE = 400 N / 2 × 10^-4 m²

PRESSURE = 200× 10 ⁴ Pascal.

PRESSURE = 2 × 10^6 Pascal.

!!!! Hope it helps!!!!!
