A girl puts her left hand in bowl of cold water and the right hand in a bowl of hot water. After a minute she puts both hands in a bowl of warm water. How do you think the left hand and right hand will feel in the bowl of warm water​

After awhile the thermoreceptors in your hands quieted down. They became desensitized and the water in the respective pots did not feel as cold or as warm anymore.
