so
the equation that can be formed from the given question is
3(x +3) - 3x = x - 3
⇒3x - 9 - 3x = x - 3
⇒x = 12
so the age of the girl is 12yrs

Answer:

The answer is 18

Step-by-step explanation:

let us assume her age be 'x'

she said that her age hence 3 years so  x+3

multiply with 3 and substract with x-3  ( which is three years ago of her present age)

age = 3(x+3)-3(x-3)

       =3x+9-3x+9

        =18
