A girl starting from a point walks in a circular park of radius 70 m and comes
back to the same point. Is the distance covered and displacement the same?
Justify.

no they r not the same......the distance covered by the girl is the circumference of the park,i.e, 2*pie(22/7)*radius(70) which is equal to 440m. whereas the displacement will be zero since the girl returned to the same point where she started from.....(displacement is the distance between the starting point and end point)....

no the distance and the displacement are not the same as diplacement is 0(as it comes to its original position) but the distance is 440m(circumference of the circle of radius 70m.)
