i] The size of the object remains the same as that of the image

in the plane mirror. So, if the height of the girl is 1.5m then the

image height will also be the same.

ii] The distance of the object in front of the mirror is equal to the

distance between the mirror and the image. The total distance of

the image from the girl would be 3m + 3m= 6m.

iii]The distance of the girl in front of the mirror is equal to the

distance between the mirror and her image. Hence if the girl is at 3

m and she moves towards the mirror by 2m then the girl is 3m -

2m= 1m away from the mirror and the image would also be at 1m

apart from the mirror so now the total distance would be 2m.
