foot area of cross section 0.025m2 is standing on the floor. Which of

Answer:

Explanation:

Given:

Mass of girl = 50kg

Area= 1cm2=0.0001m2

Pressure due to girl = force/ area

Force exerted due to girl = F=W= mxg

F=50x10=500N

Pressure due to girl = 500/0.0001

=5000000Pa

Force exerted due to elephant = 200x10=2000N

Area = 250cm2= 0.025m2

Pressure=2000/0.025

=80000Pa

Therefore force exerted by girl is more than elephant.

Because area of contact of heel is smaller than elephant foot area .So more pressure is exerted by girl.
