a) The chemical test can be bromine water test.Bromine water is red-brown in colour.When it is added to an unsaturated compound , then it loses its colour but it is not so in saturated compounds.

b)
i. The products formed are CO2 and H2O.

ii. The two forms of energy liberated are heat and light energy.

(c) It is considered a substitution reaction as when chlorine is reacted with methane ,then it replaces a hydrogen atom .The equation is-CH4+Cl2----CH3Cl+HCl.In this , hydrogen is being substituted.
