  2. Oxidation reaction can be endothermic or exothermic. Exothermic: combustion of hydrocarbons, thermite rxn, burning a reactive metal for example sodium in air. Endothermic: burning a less reactive metal in air. mostly oxidation reaction is exothermic.
  3. CuO + H2 ➡️Cu + H2O. Here, copper gets reduced while hydrogen gets oxidised by gaining oxygen from the Copper Oxide.
