a) MgO + H2 ---> Mg + H2O

b) Exothermic

c) In the above reaction
Oxygen from magnesium oxide combines with Hydrogen and forms water this is an example of oxidation.
And Hydrogen combines with oxygen and Magnesium comes out as a product which is an example of reduction.
