Examples of Interdependence between plants and non-living things

  • plants are photoautotrophs and they synthesize nutrients utilizing sunlight.
  • plants are fixed at a place and absorb water from root system because they are fixed into soil which is non-living.

Examples of interdependence between animals

  • snakes obtain their nutrition by eating rats. and inturn snake is eaten up by eagle.
  • small birds eat parasites that reside on the body of antelopes. in this process both antelope and bird gain their uses.
  • small rats eat grasshoppers that feed on grass.

Example of interdependence of animals on non-living things

  • animals like deers, antelopes protect themselves from carnivores like tiger, lion by hiding behind rocks and in caves.
