(a) Given below is a sequence:
-7. -4,-1, 2, ...
(1) Identify the type of sequence. (Justify your answer)
(ii) Find the nth term of it
(iii) Hence, find the 15th term of it.​

Answer:

i)There is common difference d=3.

So, The sequence is A.P ( arithmetic progression).

ii)T(n)=a+(n-1)d , where a= first term , d= common difference and n= no. of terms

T(n)= -7 + (n-1)3

= -7+3n-3

=3n-10

iii) T(n)= 3n-10

So, 15th term will be,

T(15)= 3*15 - 10

=45-10

=35
