resistance is directly proportional to length of wire then resistance will also
be increased 4 times

Answer:

The length of wire is doubled on itself and so the area get reduced to half.

The resultant resitance will be 4 times.

The process is repeated and therefore the resistance will increase by 4 times. The total resitance will be increased to 16 times.
