A given resistance wire has a resistance of 60 ohm how will it's resistance change if
1 Only it's length is doubled
2 Only it's cross section area is doubled

Answer 1

1 - If length is doubled then resistance will become 2times i.e. 120 ohm.
2- If cross sectional area is doubled then, resistance will become one-fourth of the original resistance i.e. 15 ohm
