  • Molecular mass of ethanol =

12*2 + 5*1 + 16 + 1

= 46 g

percentage composition of C2

  • 12*2/46 * 100 = 52.17%

percentage composition of H5 +H =

  • 6/46 *100 = 13.04

percentage composition of O

  • 16/46 *100=34.78

Water =100-30=70%

H2O

molecular mass = 2*1+16=18

percentage composition of H2 =

  • 2/18*100=11.11%
