A glass ball collides with a smooth horizontal surface
with a velocity V = ai-bj. If the coefficient of restitution
of collision be e, find the velocity of the ball just after the
collision, x-axis is along the horizontal and y-axis is
upward.

the collision of glass ball will be elastic collision so

by laws of conservation of momentum

let m1 be the glass ball and m2 be the horizontal surface

u1 be the velocity of glass ball

let v1 be final velocity of the glass ball and V2 be the velocity of horizontal wall due to collision

give that u1 =ai-bj

I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU AND MARK IT AS BRIANLIEST ANSWER
