a glass bottle completely filled with water was left by mistakes in freezing chamber of refrigrator...when freezing chamber was opened after some time the bottle was found to be cracked ...explain what happens to the bottle​

water is one of the substances which due to its anomalous nature expands on cooling from 4 to 0 degree Celsius. because it expands, it exerts pressure on glass forming cracks.
