The exerted will be the force or thrust..

PRESSURE= THRUST\ AREA

200 = FORCE \ 0.003

Force = 200* 0.003 = 0.6.

Answer:

The pressure exerted by ball on entire glass plate is 163.33Pa

Explanation:

Given that,

A glass which has an area of 0.003m^{2} can tolerate pressure up to 200Pa.

Also given that,

A ball of mass 0.05kg rests on this plate and we are required to find the pressure exerted by ball on entire plate.

We know that pressure is the ratio of force exerted to the area.Hence we write

P=\frac{F}{A}

The force exerted by ball on glass plate is its own weight which is calculated as shown below

F=mg=-0.05\times9.81=0.49N

Since force and area are known,we shall substitute them in teh pressure relation as follows

P=\frac{0.49N}{0.003m^{2}}=163.33Pa

Therefore,the pressure exerted by ball on entire glass plate is 163.33Pa
