A goat is tied to one corner of a square plot of side 12 m by a rope 7m long find the area it can graze

Area covered by goat = Pi*r^2/4

( here we divide by 4 because rope is tied at the corner of the plot and only 1/4 part , the goat can graze)

where

r= 7 m = length of rope

so area = (22/7)*7*7/4 = 38.5 sq. m
