Answer:

l=50m

b=40m

h=10m

area of four walls =2(l+b)h

=2(50+40)×10

=2×90×10

=2×900

=1800m sq.

Given:-

  • Dimensions of godown is 50 m × 40 m × 10 m.

To Find:-

  • Area of four walls of the godown.

Formula Used:-

  • 2(L+B) \times H

Solution:-

Here, Area of four walls of godown by using the formula,

2(L+B) \times H

2(50+40) \times 10

180 \times 10

1800 \ m^{2}

Hence, Area of four walls of godown is 1800 m².

Now, Area of four walls of godown without using formula:-

Since, The four walls of the godown is four rectangles.

Hence, Area of four walls of godown ⇒ 2 ( L × H ) + 2 ( B × H )

                                                              ⇒ 2 ( 50 × 10 ) + 2 ( 40 × 10 )

                                                              ⇒ 1000 + 800

                                                              ⇒ 1800 m²

Hence, Area of four walls of godown is 1800 m².
