Since whitewashing is to be done of a Godown, then the four wall and the ceiling has to white washed.
The dimensions of two walls will be Length = 50 M, Height = 10 M.
So the area of the two walls will be = 2 (L X H) = 2 ( 50 x 10) = 1000 M2.
The dimension of the other two walls = Broad = 40 M, Height = 10 M.
So the area of the other two walls = 2(B x H) = 2(40 x 10) = 800 M2.
Dimension of the ceiling = Length = 50 M, Broad = 40 M
So the area of the ceiling = L x B = 50 x 40 = 2000 M2.
So the total area to be white washed = 1000 + 800 + 2000 = 3800 M2.
Cost of white washing = Rs 20 per M2.
So the cost of white washing the complete godown = 3800 x 20 = Rs. 76000.00
