length of that godown = 50m
width of that godown = 40m
the height = 10m

lateral surface area of a cuboid = 2h (l+b)
= 2 (10){50 + 40}
= 20 ( 90)
= 1800m^2

area of the celling = length × breadth
= 50 × 40
= 200m^2

total area to be whitewashed = total lateral area + area of the celling
= 1800 + 200
=2000m^2

cost of whitewash per m^2 = Rs. 20
total cost = total area to be whitewashed × ckst of whitewashing per m^2
= 2000 × 20
= 40,000

So, the total cost will be Rs. 40,000.

Hi

Length  = 50 m
Breadth = 40 m
Height = 10 m

lateral surface area (LSA) = 2(l+b) h
                                          = 2 *(50+40)*10
                                          = 1800 m²

         Area of the ceiling = length × breadth
                                      = 50 × 40
                                      = 200 m²

Area to be whitewashed = L.S.A + Area of the ceiling
                                      = 1800 + 200
                                      =  2000 m²

Rate of whitewashing = Rs 20

Money to be spent  = total area to be whitewashed × rate
                                = 2000 × 20
                                = Rs 40000

Total cost = Rs 40000
