Answer:

16000

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of godown= 40 m x 25 m x 15

                              =15000m^{3}

volume of each wooden crates= 1.5 m x 1.25 m x 0.5 m

                                                    =0.9375 m^{3}

total number of wooden crates that can be stored in th godown =\frac{volume\ of\ godown}{volume\ of\ wooden\ crates}

             =\frac{15000m^{3}}{0.9375 m^{3}}

            =16000

So, the total number of boxes that can be stored in godown is 16000.

Answer :

Given ,

          First Case :

  • Length - 40 m
  • Breadth - 25m
  • Height - 15 m

    Second Case :

  • Length - 1.5m
  • Breadth-1.25m
  • Height-   0.5m

  • Volume/capacity of the godown - { 40m x 25m x 15m}
  • Volume of one wooden crates - { 1.5m x 1.25m x 0.5m}

Now , According to this question :

Required number of Wooden crates = {\frac{Capacity\ of  the\ godown }{ Volume\ of one\ wooden\ crate }

                                                           => \frac{40m \times 25m\times 15m }{1.5m \times 1.25m \times 0.5m }

                                                            => \frac{length \times breadth \times height }{length\times breadth \times height}

                                                           => \frac{15000m^{3} }{0.9375m^{3} }

                                                           => 16000

So maximum 16000 crates can be stored in the godown
