A goldfish is located in a large tank, which sits upon a trolley. The goldfish swims with a
velocity of 0.5 / ሾ45°ሿ. The trolley/tank is bumped into accidentally, which causes it
to move with a velocity of 1.1 / ሾ30°ሿ. The trolley is located on the deck of a fancy
yacht, which is cruising around the coast of Florida with a velocity of 4.3 / ሾሿ.
These events are witnessed by a bystander on a jet-ski, who has a velocity of
5.7 / ሾ60°ሿ.
Determine the goldfish’s velocity relative to the jet-ski rider’s reference frame.

The fins and tail of goldfish exert force on the water in the backward direction and according to Newton's 3rd law of motion, the water exerts the same force on the goldfish in forward direction which helps it to swim in forward direction.
