Length of gold wire = 8.8 m or 880 cm

Length required to make 1 gold ring = 2 × \frac{22}{7} × 2 \\ = 12.57 cm

No. of gold rings he can make using the wire = 880 ÷ 12.57 \\ = 70 \:rings\: approx
