Answer:

I'll narrate some points from both sides of the debate.

●Media has helped in mass communication. Hence, the wide-spread use of social media and print media (alongside electronic media.)

○Violent acts conducted through media are more of privacy invasion and blackmailing through the direct messaging feature.

●Education has been provided to remote areas, only thanks to the media.

○Exploitation of young generation's interests and thoughts as random and unverified users circulate offensive medium on the media.

●Media intends to circulate news faster and easier than the ordinary information circulation, that is by people travelling to other cities and areas to inform about happenings.

○Media cut off people from their surroundings and environment, leading to health risks and social awkwardness. A twitter celebrity could be unknown to people in real life as there are two personas of the person they interact with.

●Medium of speech is emphasised so that the ordinary can speak their thoughts without any hesitation or write articles on subjects they feel should be discussed about.

○The child po*nography (*=r) and explicit pictures of the b*dy (*=o) are sent off to people who are still minor and can affect them greatly, it can lead to traumatic experiences.

●Violence acts when there is no security, but the people of media are secured of their work they post and can be dealt off pretty well without much trouble.

○Security as discussed, there is no security to targeted harassment of people and the content removal takes days, all the while people would share it off to others and that's where it's difficult. Content is stored into private databases and is used or brought up whenever the tides come in favour.

This is all I could think off at the moment.

○= in favour of the topic, "Media is the leading cause of violence"

●= against the topic, "Media is the leading cause of violence."

Explanation:

These are just points that should be supported by facts and figures, for that Google can help find cases relevant to the topic.
