There is a part of me that has always wanted to believe this, but then I think about it and sometimes the people that you have made those memories with aren't your "best friends" anymore. Just because you made memories doesn't mean that you aren't going to grow apart eventually, and that's the saddest and the hardest thing sometimes. In any relationship, it can happen. Even harder still is when your best friend isn't here anymore to relive those memories.

When you grow up with someone there are memories that no one else could understand. There are unique situations that everyone could kind of relate to, but only the person who grew up with you truly understands your specific journey.

Then there might be times where you start growing apart for whatever reason. They could pass away too young. You might get in a fight realize that that's not a friendship you want to be in.
