 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

Find distance traveled:

Length of the train = 400 m

Length of the other train = 450 m

Distance that the train needs to travel = 400 + 450 = 850 m

Find the time needed to travel 850m:

Distance = 850m - 0.85 km

Speed = 45 km/hour

Time - Distance ÷ Speed

Time = 085 ÷ 45 = 0.018 hour = 1 min 8 sec

.

Answer: It takes 1 min 8 secs to cross the other train.

Given length of good train = 400m.

Given length of another train = 450m.

Total distance to cross = 400 + 450 = 850m.

Given Speed = 45 km/hr

= > 45 * (5/18)

= > (25/2) m/sec.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now,

We know that Time = Distance/Speed

= > 850/25/2

= > 1700/25

= > 68 seconds

= > 1 minute 8 seconds.

Hope this helps!
