A grandfather is ten times older than his grand
daughter. He is also 54 years older than her. Find
their present ages.​

So grand fathers age=10x

According to question,

x+54=10x

54=10x-x

54=9x

x=54/9

x=6

Therefore daughters age = x= 6

and grandfathers age = 10x=10 X 6=60
