Let grand daughter 's age =x

then it is given that

grand father's. age = 10x

also. given that

grand father's age = x+54 ..........equation 1

By. forming equation

10x. = x+54

10x- x = 54

9x. =54

x=54\9

x=6.

now put. x=6 in. equation. 1

x+54

= 6+54

= 60

the present age of grand father is. 60 yrs
