length of the rectangular field =8m

breadth of the rectangular field =6m

the minimum type required for the first to graze in the whole field will be the diagonal of the rectangular field i.e.

diagonal = √8*8 +6*6

=√64+36

=√100

=10 m

hence a rope of 10m is required for the goat to graze in the whole field.
