There lived a very greedy man who has a lot of money, but he craved for more. One day he was wondering in his estate, suddenly he heard a moan. When he reached the place which was in between several trees, he found a fairy whose long beautiful hair was trapped in the bushes of the trees. She was trying hard to come out but the more she tried, the more she got stuck. The greedy man saw this as a money-making opportunity and offered to help the fairy in return for a wish in return. The elf agreed to it, and he freed her tangled hair from bushes. He said “Whatever I touch should turn to gold’ and the thankful fairy queen immediately granted his wish.
The man ran towards his house to tell this happy news while touching everything in his way to turn into gold. Once he reached home, his little daughter came rushing towards him and as soon as he kissed her, she immediately turned into gold. The disheartened greedy man realizes his folly and spends his rest of the life searching for that fairy queen to take back his wish.
