Answer:

CP of 600 eggs = 600*0.75 = 450 rs

To gain 10% his SP will be = CP*(100+gain%)/100 = 450*110/100 = 495

since 50 eggs broken ,

left eggs to be sold = 600-50 = 550 eggs

SP of each egg = 495/550 = 0.9 rs (Ans)

The grocer need to the sell the remaining eggs  at 90 paisa, so that he can gain 10% percent.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A grocer buy 600 eggs at 75 paisaa each out of them 50 egges were found broken at what rate each should he sell the remaining egges so as to gain 10 percent

Solution:

600 at 75 paisa = 45000 = 450 rupees

50 eggs were broken, remaining eggs = 550

Gain percent = 10%

\frac{110}{100} \times 450 = 495

550 eggs has to be sold at 495 rupees

Cost of 1 egg = \frac{495}{550}  = 90 paise
