= 96

Cost of 8 dozen (96) apples = 20 × 8

= rupees 160 Cost of each apple = 160 / 96

= rupees 5 / 3 ( leave it

Rotten apples = 16

Apple left = 96 - 16

= 80

Profit = 10% of 160 rupees

= 10 / 100 × 160

= rupees 16

Amount = 160 + 16

= rupees 176

Rate each of 80 apples should be sold

= 176 / 80

= 2 rupees 20 paise
