Answer :- Distance covered by Amrit in 5 Rounds = 375m

Explanation :-

Let sides of a Triangle be 'a', 'b' and 'c'

Now, a = 17m, b = 33m and c = 25m

Distance covered by Amrit in one round

= Perimeter of Triangle

= a+b+c

= ( 17+33+25 ) m

= 75m

Distance covered by Amrit in 5 Rounds

= 5*Perimeter

= 5*75m

= 375m

= 0.375 km

Hope this helps you

Given

  • A ground is in triangular shape.
  • The sides are 17m, 33m and 25m

________________________________

To Find

  • The distance covered if Amrit walks 5 times around the ground.

Solution

Firstly we will have to find the perimeter of the triangular ground.

Perimeter is the measure of the boundary of an object.

Perimeter of Triangle ⇒ Side 1 + Side 2 + Side 3

Side 1 ⇒ 17m

Side 2 ⇒ 33m

Side 3 ⇒ 25m

Perimeter of Triangle ⇒ 17 + 33 + 25

Perimeter of Triangle ⇒ 75m

∴ The perimeter of the triangular ground is 75m. So if Amrit walks 1 time around the ground he would cover 75m.

Since the question states to find the total distance Amrit would cover if he walks around the ground 5 times, we will multiply '5' to the perimeter.

Total Distance Covered by Amrit ⇒ Perimeter × 5

Total Distance Covered by Amrit ⇒ 75 × 5

Total Distance Covered by Amrit ⇒ 375m

∴ The total distance covered by Amrit if he walks 5 times around the ground would be 375m.
