Explanation:

Given A ground is in the form of a circle whose diameter is 350 m. An athlete makes 4 revolution. Find the distance covered by the athlete

We are given diameter = 350 m

So radius will be d/2 = 350 / 2

                                 r = 175 m

We know that circumference = 2 x π x r

                                         C = 2 x 22/7 x 175

                                         C = 1100 m

So for one revolution it is 1100 m

Given athlete makes 4 revolutions.

                                               = 1100 x 4

                                              = 4400 m

So distance covered by the athlete is 4400 m
