Answer:

Rs. 15795

Explanation:

A ground is in the form of isosceles trapezium with parallel sides measuring 42m and 36m long.the distance between the parallel sides is 30m.find the cost of levelling it at the rate of rs 135 per square.m

Area of isosceles trapezium = h ( a + b) / 2

where h - height of  isosceles trapezium - 30 m

a =  Parallel Side 1 - 42 cm = 42 m

b =  Parallel Side 2 - 36 cm = 36 m

Area of isosceles trapezium = 30 x (42 + 36) / 2

Area of isosceles trapezium = 30 x 78 / 2

Area of isosceles trapezium = 117 sq.m

Cost of leveling = 135 x 117 =  Rs. 15795
