Total number of cats and ladies are $20$ as there $20$ heads are in the park.

Let the number of ladies are $x$ and number of cats$=(20-x)$.

A ladies have two feet and a cat have four feet.

So, we can write-

$2x+(20-x)\times4=68\\2x+80-4x=68\\-2x=-12\\2x=12\\x=\dfrac{12}{2}\\x=6$

Number of ladies are $6$.

Number of cats are

$=(20-6)\\=12$

There are $6$ ladies and $12$ cats in the park.

Ladies have  1 head  and  2 feet

x  +  y  =   20

2x + 4y  = 68

=> x + 2y  = 34

=> y  = 14

x = 6

Ladies = 6

cat = 14

6 ladies and 14 cats are there in the park
