A group of people buys 43.7 kg of rice at Rs.12 per kg and distributes it equally amongst 152 poor people. What was the cost of the quantity of rice that each person got?

first multiply the cost with quantity
43.7×12
=Rs. 524.4 the total price
now divide it with the no. of poor people
524.4÷152
=Rs. 3.52 the cost of quantity of rice that each person got

43.7 kg = 12 x 43.7 = Rs 524.40


Find the cost of the quantity of rice each person get:

152 people = Rs 524.40
