Answer:
A group of pilgrims travelling of foot have lost their way in thick jungle. When they look at their map they discover that indeed they are lost and they do not know any way out of there.
They knew that the only way to find a way out was to split up, however, there was fear of loosing the rest of the pack as well.
So these pilgrims decided to divide themselves into groups of two and mark the trees, and to mark the time and try to meet back at the same place.
Thus, they split up. Even though they tried really hard, they couldn't figure a way out. That's when one of them tried to navigate with the use of trails of their foot prints.
Before they could find out what had happened, a boy came out of the deepest part of the forest who said he knew a way out and that other friends of these people, were looking for them. One group genuinely believed them considering he must be a guide or a local. They followed him for several hours but didn't find a way out . Night fell when they heard various scary noises and felt that they wouldn't survive the night. That's when they set up camp. When they woke up in the morning the boy was no where to be found.
They all woke up at their own camp site, as if they had never been lost. The rest of their friends arrived and told them, that they all were found out cold in the jungle, and that some way they all made it out.
Till this day, they didn't know who that boy was.
I hope this may helps you! :)
