A group of students were taken to National Science Centre where they were divided in groups of two for different activities and games. Soon, a small quiz was conducted to see what children learnt in the whole trip. Some friends who were friends but on different groups didn't help each other at all in quiz but helped someone else of their own group. Also, in oral quiz round, not all participated equally in quiz competition and sat back silently. Those who had to give answers as a group believed that what they were saying was right and all must be agreeing with them.
a) Why didn't the friends help each other?
b) What term will you use for students who didn't take part in quiz? What could be reason for it?
c) The last part of case where some students took decision for whole group, which effect was seen there?

The kids who were friends did not help each other as they were in different groups as per the command if the teachers.
The term I would call them is nonparticipating kids/ Quitters. I called them that as they are not participating and are sat back lazily.
