GIVEN :
Total value of the three prizes = ₹ 15000
Let the value of the 1st prize = x

2nd prize = 5x/6

3rd prize = 4/5 × ( 5x/6 ) = 2x/3

x + 5x/6 + 2x/3 = 15000

[6x + 5x + 4x]/6 = 15000 [LCM = 6]

15x/6 = 15000
15 x = 15000 × 6

15x = 90000
x = 90000/15

x = 6000

Value of 1st prize = x = ₹ 6000

Value of 2nd prize = 5x/6 = (5 x 6000)/6 = 5× 1000= ₹ 5000

3rd prize = 2x/3 =( 2 × 6000)/3 =  2 × 2000 = 4000
Hence , the value of 1st prize, 2nd prize  & 3rd prize is ₹ 6000, ₹ 5000 & ₹ 4000
