The probability that a student chooses drama as an elective is 0.07 or 7%.

Explanation:

Let A = Event that student chooses art .

D= Event that student chooses drama .

As per given , we have

P(A) =0.15

P(A or B)= 0.20

P(A and B)=0.02

To find : P(B)

Using formula : P(A or B)= P(A)+P(B)-P(A and B)

Substitute all the value in the above formula , we get

0.20= 0.15+P(B)-0.02

⇒ P(B)= 0.20- 0.15+0.02=0.07

Therefore , the probability that a student chooses drama as an elective is 0.07 or 7%.
