Given :-

Mass of bullet (m₁) is 25 kg

Velocity of bullet(v₁) is 200 m/s

Mass of gun is (m₂) 5kg

Recoil of velocity of gun ? (v₂)

Explanation:-

As we know that,

From law of conservation of momentum,

m₁v₁= m₂v₂

Substituting the values to get the Recoil of velocity of gun (v₂)

25 ×200 = 5 × v₂

5 × 200 = v₂

v₂ = 1000 m/s

So, recoil of velocity of the gun is 1000 m/s
