 \implies \: (1 \times 0) + (1000 \times 0) = (1 \times 100) \times (1000v)

 \implies \:0= (1 \times 100) \times (1000v)

 \implies 1000v =  - 100

 \implies v =  - 0.1 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

So, recoil velocity of gun is 0.1 m/s.
