Here,Mass Of Machine Gun(m)= 5kg

Mass of each Bullet, (M)=35g=0.005kg

Velocity Of Bullet(v)=400m/s

No.Of Bullets/sec=400/60=20/3

Force required = rate of change of linear momentum of bullets=n(mv)/t

=20/3×(0.005×400)/1=13.34N

007shreyas: the weight of bullet is 10 g and its 20 bullets per sec

mass of the gun equal to 5 kg
mass of the bullet is 10 gram
speed of bullet equal to 400 m per second.
therefore force required to keep the gun in a position=change in momentum of bullets/time taken.
